After graduating from the William & Mary MAcc program in 2016, she joined PwC’s Richmond office in the core tax practice. She began working with PwC’s Washington national exempt organizations tax practice in spring 2017 and has since focused her professional energy on the not-for-profit/exempt organization space. After nearly 3 years with PwC, she joined Richmond’s premier boutique firm, Keiter. While at Keiter she was a member of the firm’s not-for-profit team and frequently shared her tax insights on the Keiter blog. Following a relocation from Richmond to Nashville, TN in April 2022, Kari joined RSM’s national exempt organization tax team as a senior associate. She continues to dedicate her practice to working with not-for-profit organizations, including private foundations, educational institutions, and health and human welfare organizations
