Sandy originally joined The Veterans Consortium in 2009.  After stepping away briefly from TVC in 2022 to work for another nonprofit, Sandy returned in August 2023 as Deputy Director of Client Services.

Sandy is originally from the DC area.  She attended The University of Mary Washington, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.  After college she worked for a U.S. Coast Guard contractor, reviewing Vessel Response Plans to ensure incoming ships had comprehensive emergency response protocols for operating in U.S. waters.  Over the years she has seen TVC grow exponentially and has enjoyed working with the Client Services team to ensure that our nation’s Veterans have assistance at the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.

In her free time, Sandy enjoys baking, shopping at local thrift stores, and spending time with her nephews.
