Leo Chen joined The Veterans Consortium in June 2023 as a Client Intake Specialist with the Discharge Upgrade Program. Leo takes incoming correspondence to the Discharge Upgrade Program and assists with determining qualification for program criteria. Leo graduated in May 2023 with a B.A. in Political Science from Boston University. At BU, Leo was President and co-founder of the Undergraduate Political Science Association and co-captain and coach of the Mock Mediation team – leading the team to several international awards and accolades. Prior to his time at BU, Leo worked as a Paralegal Assistant at the Southern Illinois University School of Law’s Veterans Legal Assistance Program, where he realized his passion for assisting veterans. In his free time, he loves playing basketball and volleyball, and enjoys spending time with his family and traveling, oh and coffee!
