Grace Birth

Grace Joined the Veterans Consortium as a Client Services Specialist at the end of May 2023. Grace is a recent graduate of the Catholic University of America (CUA) where she received a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW).

In her time at CUA she also studied Criminology, Public Health, and earned a certificate in Community Opioid Prevention with a research focus on DC wards 5 and 7. Throughout her time as an undergraduate she had various work experiences. Notably she served as the Parenting Education Intern at a local nonprofit for formerly incarcerated women and victims of domestic violence. In this capacity she took on case management, community education, and communications responsibilities. She also worked at the National Children’s Museum where she learned the ins and outs of museum education and facilitating exhibits. Here she was able to interact with all sorts of people, including but not limited to politicians and royal families.

In her free time Grace enjoys doing crosswords, crocheting, and making bread. On a weekend morning you can most likely catch her on the Metro Branch Trail taking a walk, drinking iced coffee, and watching the dogs at her local dog parks!
