Jessie Ford Yeyeodu joined The Veterans Consortium in March 2023 as a Client Services Specialist. Originally from Montana, Jessie moved to Washington, DC in 2013 to pursue an undergraduate degree at Georgetown University. She graduated in 2017, majoring in English and minoring in Women’s and Gender Studies. Prior to joining TVC, she worked on the National Human Trafficking Hotline run by Polaris. Jessie spent two years as a Hotline Advocate while also pursuing an MA in English from Georgetown University, followed by one year as a Hotline Supervisor. She helped connect survivors of labor and sex trafficking to local resources, facilitated survivor-centered reports to law enforcement, and managed crisis situations.

In her free time, Jessie loves to read, cook, and hike. She was spoiled growing up in the Rocky Mountains but has come to love adventuring in Shenandoah.
