Griffin grew up mostly in California before moving to Washington, DC. Griffin attended San Francisco State University, where they graduated with a degree in International Relations (B.A.), while also taking part in advocacy work with the United Nations Association and San Francisco Rising. They moved to DC to pursue a career that would merge their education and passion for assisting underrepresented and disenfranchised peoples. Griffin has always had a passion for activism and holds many causes near and dear to their heart.

Before joining TVC, Griffin worked with Lambda Legal and the Victory Fund’s Development Departments, participated in Foreign Policy Legislation advocacy to assist with poverty development, and other roles concerning advocacy and assistance of national and international advocacy networks. Griffin is looking forward to using their passion for advocacy with getting veterans the care, benefits and compensation they have earned.
