The Veterans Consortium (vetsprobono.org) is proud to have received a $120,000 grant from the District of Columbia Bar Foundation (dcbarfoundation.org) to support the organization’s free legal clinics in Washington D.C. through December 31st, 2025.
The Veterans Consortium’s legal clinics connect staff and volunteer attorneys with former service members to help them navigate challenges in Veterans' benefits, as well as family, consumer, landlord-tenant, and employment law. Without free legal assistance, many Veterans with low-income, or those who are underserved, struggle to access a wide range of life-changing benefits and services.
The Veterans Consortium offers in-person walk-in clinics at the address below once a month. Lawyers are available to provide free legal advice, referrals, and case intakes on a first-come, first-served basis.
