The Veterans Consortium's Discharge Upgrade Program provides free legal representation nationwide to veterans with Other Than Honorable discharges due to conduct related to:

• Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
• Military Sexual Trauma (MST)
• Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
• Don't Ask, Don't Tell
• Anti-LGBTQIA+ policies

We can also assist veterans discharged under Don't Ask, Don't Tell regardless of discharge type, as well as veterans seeking transgender name changes.

PLEASE NOTE: Veterans with a General ‘under honorable conditions’ discharge usually do not qualify for our representation unless they are a survivor of military sexual trauma with a mental health diagnosis.
