ABA Journal Recognizes The Veterans Consortium for Website Technology Benefitting Veterans

ABA Journal

March 10, 2017 — In its article, "New online resource and tool helps veterans appeal denial of benefits", The American Bar Association Journal (www.abajournal.com) recognizes the advances in legal technology used on the new Vets Pro Bono website.

The new application portal assists veterans in more easily applying for assistance in submitting appeals to the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.

"The online portal, which is housed by Neota Logic, asks veterans several questions before generating the paperwork necessary for them file an appeal with the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. The site also provides resources, videos and information about the appellate process, giving veterans the option of going pro se or to be connected with a pro bono attorney.

"'This new web platform is a leap ahead for our staff and dedicated volunteers and helps us live our credo that our veterans in need, our nation’s defenders, deserve the benefits and compensation they were promised, and the best legal services free of charge, to meet their challenges,' said Ed Glabus, executive director of The Veterans Consortium."
