Thomas is a native Washingtonian. He attended both Howard Dilworth Woodson High School and Frank W. Ballou Senior High School.

Thomas also spent two years at Bowie State University majoring in Psychology and minoring in Journalism. He decided to enter the professional workforce shortly after, beginning his career as a Legal Assistant at a private law firm.

Thomas has served in all levels of Office Administration, including being an Office Manager for several types of firms including legal, architectural, and government agencies in the DC area.
